Dr. Yılmaz Soyyer is the major member of East and West Institute. He has completed his PhD in the Social Sciences Institute of Istanbul University. He has been announced as an expert of the Islamic schools which areAlevism and Bektasizm. He has written several articles and books related to this field. \"Bedi Nuri The Beginning of Turkish Sociology\", \"Alevi Bektasizm Tradition According to the Sociologic Perspective\" and \" The Rrojection of an Ideology: Taliban\" are his recent studies. Futhermore, his latest study \"Bektaşi in 19th Century\" is about to be published. Moreover, he is also working about American Bektasizm during these days. Additionally, he has been working as an acedemician in Süleyman Demirel University, Isparta.
